Bisected Stamp: Genuine or Forgery?

    This is supposed to be a ‘bisected’ Postage Due stamp. Very difficult to prove authenticity, in my opinion, as it would be relatively easy to simply loosen and trim off half of the stamp, particularly if only half the stamp was covered with a cancel mark. In this case some of the ‘cancel’ was even trimmed off, which doesn’t help. Any opinions?
