Like ourselves with our fairly regular Zoom meetings, the Royal Philatelic Society London also has monthly Zoom meetings, (usually the first Tuesday of the month at 3 PM London time). They are free to view by both members and non-members both in the UK and overseas. They are obviously of a more general nature in terms of subject matter with the RPSL not being a specialist society of Sudan!
Today, Tuesday 3rd January 2023, the presentation is by Simon Richards FRPSL, and is on The Postal History of Savoy … that’s nothing to do with the hotel chain! It does of course, have a great deal of French interest from the conquered departments in the revolution until the inclusion of the province into France under Napoleon III.
